Missouri law requires real estate brokers to enter into exclusive brokerage agreements. They need to accept and present offers and counteroffers plus answer their clients questions in every real estate transaction.

Many Missouri Multiple Listing Services have now passed rules requiring brokers to enter into exclusive brokerage agreements. Brokers in those MLSs are prevented from offering MLS-listing-only services.

According to the Missouri Real Estate Commission, Missouri Law prohibits consumer rebates. The law prohibits unlicensed individuals from receiving part of the real estate commission. As a result, consumers in Missouri cannot receive a rebate as they are not licensed brokers.
